About the Internship

We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for a highly motivated Bachelor’s or Master’s student to gain hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and bioprocessing within a dynamic and innovative biotechnology environment. This internship provides exposure to both upstream and isolation processes, quality systems, and cleanroom operations, offering valuable insight into the dynamics of the novel and rapidly evolving industry of cellular agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

As an intern, you will:

  • Perform mammalian cell culture techniques under aseptic conditions

  • Gain practical experience in upstream processing, including mammalian cell cultivation and bioreactor operations

  • Gain exposure to mammalian cell product isolation.

  • Develop an understanding of scale-up techniques for mammalian upstream processes

  • Work within a Quality Management System (QMS), with a focus on Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

  • Operate in a cleanroom environment, following applicable safety and regulatory guidelines

  • Being involved in shaping the future of food production and contributing to making cultured meat scalable and economically viable.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Life Sciences, or a related field

  • Prior experience or academic training in aseptic techniques

  • Understanding of mammalian cell culture techniques

  • Basic knowledge of bioreactors and bioprocessing concepts

  • Strong interest in biomanufacturing, process development, and industrial biotechnology

  • Ability to work carefully, accurately, and with attention to detail
